Nanette Thompson is a Speech-Language Pathologist and an Auditory-Verbal therapist. She grew up in Louisiana and received her master’s degree from the University of Texas. She has been working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing for 12 years. She has worked in Houston at the Center for Hearing and Speech and in Dallas at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders. She’s lived in the United Kingdom, establishing an early intervention program for children with hearing loss and developing an aural rehabilitation program for children with cochlear implants. She has lived in Denver for five years and works for the Colorado Home Intervention Program, the Listen Foundation, and the University of Colorado.
