The hearing technology industry is rapidly changing, similar to all electronics these days, and many companies are now designing personal sound amplification products (PSAPs) that may help hearing impaired individuals with mild hearing loss reconnect with their friends and family.

Personal sound amplifiers are not hearing aids. They are pre-programmed amplifiers that are intended to “turn up the volume” to help ease listening in specific environments. They are not intended for everyday use.

At Rocky Mountain Ear Center, we are committed to helping you find the best solution for your hearing needs. Some of the PSAPs we may discuss with you include the Starkey Bragi and Dash Pro, Bose Hearphones, PockeTalker, TV Ears, Eargo, and more! If you have questions about PSAPs, feel free to discuss them with your audiologist.
