Dehydration TestThis test was designed to determine the effect that urea / glycerol may have on your hearing. We will begin by administering a baseline hearing test. You will than be asked to drink some bittersweet liquid. You will than have one hearing test per hour post-ingestion to determine of the hearing has changed. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Light breakfast (i.e. tea and toast). Nausea, headache, thirst, diarrhea, dizziness, vomiting, and excessive urination. These side effects occur infrequently. PROCEDURE: 1. Baseline hearing test. NOTE: Please notify our office at (303)783-9330 at least 24 hours in advance if a cancellation is necessary. Failure to do so will result in a $100.00 charge. Please keep in mind that our schedule is booked approximately 2-3 weeks in advance. Back to Diagnostic Testing
